This is a small size logistics warehouse and office facility. The plot is situated in the East part of Sofia, close to the Ring road. The project is part of my academic portfolio. It also participated in one architectural exhibition in 2011.
The parking for employees and visitors is placed in the underground level, so the area behind the building can be used as a plaza for the cargo trucks. In the underground level, right on the plan, also is placed a service facility for maintenance.
Top - Left is the official entrance to the spacey atrium, which is suitable for company's events, like exhibition and presentation of products. On the other side is the alley for the cargo trucks leading to the platza and the logistics warehouse.
On this level, the administrative functions are concentrated. Here is also located the entrance of the Auditorium for training and conferences. The back exit of the Auditorium is on the Second floor, close to a open terrace and the Restaurant.
On this level are placed: The Commerce office, the Chief management, the Restaurant and the back exit of the Training auditorium. A cantilever staircase climbs above the Atrium to the Green roof, a nice place for open air office parties.
The concept explores the use of free-form shaped structural columns as a part of the facade and the interior design.
